About the Artist
Bill Davidson paints from his studio on Lake Lanier north of Atlanta. His work is in numerous private and corporate collections nationwide. In recent years many of his images have been in publications including Art Business News, which called his work “the latest, most exciting, most innovative release worldwide.” Bill is a signature member of Oil Painters of America, Plein Air Painters of the Southwest and Rocky Mountain Oil Painters. He is also a painting instructor, teaching highly sought after workshops across the country.Bill loves to visit the great galleries and closely study paintings that move him. He paints because he believes, like all artists, they each feel a need to express their vision of how they want to see the subject matter portrayed in our own unique way. Bill totally immerses him self in the awe of plein air painting. The scenes and especially the lighting and moods are always and rewarding when captured.
